The Temghar MTB Challenge presented by Pawa Collagen, put Temghar on the map for MTB and downhill bikers, on the weekend of 12th-13th Jan 2019.
The organisers – Backpack Outdoors, Rolling Academy and Mumbai MTB Offroaders, carved out scenic routes near the Temghar dam, with a thrilling mix of downhill, steep ascents and brake-burning descents! Cyclop supported the event as the community partner.
About 50 dirt-lovin’ bikers from Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Nashik and Indore came together for one of 4 races – XCC: Cross Country Circuit, XCO: Cross Country Olympic, Downhill Full Suspension and Downhill Hardtail.
Downhill Full Suspension was topped by Slade Gomes (1st) followed by Rishabh Gowda (2nd) and Abhijeet Gharad (3rd). Pic: Nagesh Wagh
